Luther F. Devers, sixty-seven, 216 E. King St., died at 6 p.m. yesterday at the General Hospital after an illness of several years. He was born in York, a son of the late Daniel and Anna Stein Devers. He was employed as a shipping clerk by Steinman Hardware Co. for 45 years. He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church. There survive his wife, the former Bertha Smith, and these children: Stein, Ruth, wife of Fred Homsher, this city; Dorothy, wife of James Musser, York; Jane, wife of George Scheuchenzuber, and Betty, wife of Nelson Gibble, this city; also 12 grandchildren, two brothers, Pierre, this city; and James of Wichita, Kan.; and a sister, Margaret, wife of Rae Brandt, Philadelphia.
