Paul H. Aldridge
Paul H. Aldridge, age 88, of Newland, N.C., passed away on Thursday March 12, 2009 at Roan Highland Nursing Center in Roan Mountain TN.
He was born a son of the late, Lewis and Nettie Vance Aldridge.
Paul was a member of Crossnore First Baptist Church.
One of his greatest accomplishments was hitting a hole in one at Mountain Glenn Golf Course where he was a member.
He had been co-owner of Aldridge Ford in Lexington, MD.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by; three brothers, Lewie, Donley and T.W.; a sister, Athena Durham.
Left to cherish his memory are; his wife, Jeweldine Aldridge of the home; a son, Paul Kent Aldridge and wife Irene of Laurel, MD.; two daughters, Kathy Martin and husband Douglas of Fredrick, MD. and Kay Cooper and husband Edward of Palm Desert, CA.; two granddaughters, Crystal Bolding of Newland and Cheryl Bass and husband Jim of Fredrick, MD; seven great grandchildren; Bradley, Brandon, Brittany, Brian, Mariah, Michael and Christian.
Interment will follow in the Johnson Cemetery.
