SHELBY Mrs. Margaret Caldwell Teddy, 78, died Thursday, April 24, 2003, at Hospice of Cleveland County.
Born Nov. 3, 1924, in Cabarrus County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Victor Caldwell Jr. and Ona Harry Caldwell. She was a retired teacher with the Shelby School system for 31 years. She was a member of John Knox Presbyterian Church. She was a former volunteer at the Senior Center and the Red Cross and served on the Shelby Appearance Commission.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy F. Teddy Jr.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Julia and Tom Price of Shelby; a son, Michael Teddy of Shelby; and three grandchildren, Lea Price, Bonney Price and Garrett Price.
A graveside service will be held in Cleveland Memorial Park
