MRS. JENNIE SHUGAR PASSES AWAY HERE
Mrs. Jennie Shugar, 75, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Clara Hall, 318 White Avenue, about 1:30 this afternoon, following a several days illness.
She was born May 22, 1864, in Toledo, Ohio, and had been a resident of this state approximately 40 years. For the past year she had made her home with her daughter.
Her husband, Jachob M. Shugar, preceded her in death several years ago.
Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Hall; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Orpha Hall of 915 Colorado avenue; a sister, Mrs. Nellie Brown, and a brother, William Brown both of Elk Falls, Kan.; and two step grandchildren.
Krohn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for funeral services, which will be announced later.

Funerals
Services for Mrs. Jennie Shugar were held from the Krohn chapel Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. N. Bertrand conducted the services, and interment was in Orchard Mesa cemetery.
Pallbearers were Orie Gullet Virgil Gullett, John Cattles, David Williams, Albert Blank and William Blank.
Mrs. LaVerne Thorpe and Mrs. Vincent Lynch sang "Abide With Me" and "Sweet Bye and Bye," with Mrs. Thorpe accompanying
