DALHART - Sid Renshaw, 65, died Thursday, March 6, 1997.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church with Dr.
Steve McMeans, pastor, and Dr. Jimmy Reese, pastor of Shepherd of the
Plains in Canyon, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park
Cemetery. Arrangements are by Hass Funeral Home Inc.

Mr. Renshaw was born in Woodward, Okla., and moved to Dalhart in the
mid1930s. He graduated from Dalhart High School in 1949. He served in
the Army during World War II. He was a machinist and owned and
operated Sid's Welding for many years. He retired in 1996.

He married Irene Barber in 1969 at Dalhart. He attended First Baptist
Church.

Survivors include his wife; five sons, Danny Renshaw of Roswell,
N.M., Keenan Renshaw of Amarillo, Joe Kelley of Frisco, and Dwight
Renshaw and Greg Renshaw, both of Dalhart; two daughters, Tamara
Holeman and RaQuel Renshaw, both of Amarillo; his father, Jake
Renshaw of Dalhart; two brothers, John C. Renshaw of Amarillo and
Samuel Thomas Renshaw of Dalhart; and nine grandchildren.
