Dorothy was born March 16, 1926, in Arkansas and grew up in Texarkana. She attended Abilene Christian College and sang in the chorus. She married Don Watson on Sept. 3, 1953, and they moved to Fort Worth in 1956. Ten years later she finished her degree and graduated from Texas Wesleyan College and taught for 20 years at Eastern Hills High School. After retiring she loved going to church and spending time with family.
Survivors: Daughters, Donna Lang of Dallas, Debra Jackson and husband, Dal, of Arlington; grandchildren, Jeremy Lang, Hayley Chandler and Zachary Lang; and great-grandchildren, Addison and Owen.
