DORIS T. LANGEVIN BURLINGTON - Doris T. Langevin, 78, of Colchester died peacefully in Starr Farm Nursing Center surrounded by her family on Friday, Aug. 12, 2005.
She was born in Burlington on , daughter of John and Carrie (Duffy) Martell.
Doris was a member of Holy Cross Parish and a life member of the VFW 6689, Essex Junction. Her family was her life. Doris was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Arthur A. Langevin of Colchester; two sons and their wives, Gary and Kim Langevin of Colchester, and Cris and Barb Langevin of Essex; eight grandchildren and their spouses, Shawn and Tina Langevin, Stephanie and David Hope, Jamie Langevin, Jeffrey Langevin, Melissa and Ryan Denecker, Dan and Bethany Langevin, Cris Langevin Jr., and Dustin Duffy; nine greatgrandchildren; a sister, Lucille Morin of Maine; and her former daughter-inlaw, Deborah Timmerman of Milton.
She was predeceased by her grandson, Michael Langevin; and by 11 brothers and sisters.
Visiting hours will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday in the Boucher and Pritchard Funeral Home, 85 N. Winooski Ave., Burlington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 15, in Holy Cross Church in Colchester with interment to follow in Fort Ethan Allen Cemetery.
