A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Eternal Hills Memorial Gardens. Interment there will follow.
Hazel was born on July 13, 1920, in Muskogee, Okla., to Lois and Ora (Ross) Aday.
She married Lloyd W. Rickett in Reno, Nev., on July 3, 1957. Lloyd preceded her in death on March 14, 1996. She and Lloyd owned and operated a hotel for many years in Newell, Calif.
Her sole survivor is her grandnephew-in-law Bruce Nicholas of Hopland, Calif.
In addition to her husband, Hazel was preceded in death by her two daughters Ellie Maye Sullivan and Joan Neubrandt and her son-in-law Bill Sullivan.
