WEDOWEE, AL -- Letha Myrtle Mize Foster, 82, of Rt. 1, Wedowee, died Wednesday, August 4, 1993, in Clay County Hospital, Ashland, after an extended illness.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Friday, August 6, 1993 at Union Hill Congregational Methodist Church, with Rev Dorsey White officiating. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Foster is survived by one nephew who lived with her, Charles Chris Foster, and a host of other nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Eugene Brock, Thad Foster, Adam Carroll, Heath Petty, Shannon Foster and Eutimio DeJesus.
Mrs. Foster was a native and lifelong resident of Randolph County. She was a retired school teacher with the Randolph County School System and was a member of the Retired Teachers Association and Union Hill Congregational Methodist Church.
Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee was in charge of the arrangements.
