Jack Murphy, 314 West 31 First Street, who died at 10:15 o'clock yesterday morning in a local hospital, will be buried in Bonaventure Cemetery today. Services will be conducted at 5:00 o'clock at the residence by the Rev. John H. Wilder, pastor of Calvary Baptist Temple.
Born at Summit in Emanuel County, May 29, 1914. Mr. Murphy had lived in Savannah for five years. He was a member of Grace Methodist Church.
Surviving him are his father, H. D. Murphy of Summit; two sisters, Miss Mary Murphy and Miss Dolly Murphy of Savannah; two half sisters, Mrs. J. W. Blackburn and Miss Willie Pearl Murphy of Summit; two brothers, Henry Murphy and Mallard Murphy of Savannah; and a half brother, Roy Murphy of Summit.
Mr. Murphy made his home with an uncle, H. M. Quinney.

Jack was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident and died in the hospital from pneumonia.
