George F. Bossow - Franklin Park, June 28 - George Frederick Bossow, of Lincoln Hwy., died in his home yesterday after an illness of two months duration. Mr. Bossow was born in New Baltimore, Mich., son of the late John and Elizabeth Bossow. He was a resident of Brooklyn, N.Y. for many years and during that time was in the cooperage business. In 1920 he moved here and operated a farm until his retirement several years ago. Survivors include one son, Kenneth L., of Deans; three daughters, Mrs. John Chadwick of Highland Park, Mrs. Douglas Mitchell [sic] of Nixon, Mrs. Edward W. Schneider of this place; 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. His wife was the late Leonilda Shattuck Bossow. A service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in his home, with the Rev. Leonard Jones of the Six Mile Run Reformed Church in charge. Interment will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery under the direction of the Quackenboss Funeral Home, 156 Livingston Ave., New Brunswick.
