Creel, 86, of Winnfield died Sunday, Dec. 8, 1996, in Winn Parish Medical Center.
He was a retired highway worker for the State of Louisian and a member of Masonic Lodge. He was a member of Union Baptist Church and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include four brothers, Ivy Creel of Baton Rouge, Cortez Creel of Jacksonville, Fla., Hezzie Creel of Joyce and Julian Creel of Natchitoches; and two sisters, Myrtle Gregory of Joyce and Jerline Jordan of Dodson.
