RICHLAND - Sylvia Violet Yeager, 83, of Richland and a former resident of Wenatchee, died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 1995, in Kadlec Medical Center, Richland.
She was born Oct. 22, 1911, to Maud W. and Gertrude Hays, at Couch, Mo.
She married Victor Yeager in 1928 at Dodge City, Kan. They farmed in Kansas until 1933, when they moved to Idaho. They later moved to Washington and then to Alaska in 1952. Mr. and Mrs. Yeager retired to Wenatchee in 1971 to be near a son.
Mrs. Yeager was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Wenatchee for 24 years. She moved to Richland in 1994 to be near her daughter.
She is survived by three sons, Howard of Puyallup, Hal of Las Vegas, Nev., and Jerry of Gig Harbor; a daughter, Sylvia Thomas of West Richland; a brother, Jack of Lake Jackson, Texas; four sisters, Golda McAdoo and Flo ]LeVaugh, both of
Colorado Springs, Colo., Helen O'Brien of Pico Rivera, Calif., and Rosemary Roche of Lansing, ]Ill.; 19 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband and a son.

Victor, son of George Yeager and Frances Coville, was born 2 Jun 1905 in Freedom, Woods Co, OK Terr and died on 7 Jan 1977 at home in Wenatchee, Chelan Co, WA. Five children were born to this family.
