Raymond was a son of the late George and Mary Merck Barrett, and the widower of Ollie Medlock Barrett.
At the time of his death he was survived by
five daughters and two sons; a sister, Mrs.
Lela Hendricks of Six Mile; 22 grandchildren
and 21 great-grandchildren.
His funeral was held on Friday, August 6,
1976 at Cateechee Wesleyan Church.
Burial: West View Cemetery.
