WAGLER, Elmer B. -- On Sunday, July 24, 1977, at home, after a lengthy illness, Elmer B. Wagler, of 424 Bleams Rd. W., New Hamburg, age 59 years. He was a member of Hillcrest Mennonite Church, New Hamburg, and a member of Transport for Christ. He is survived by his wife, Alice Magdalena Jutzi; one son, David James, all of Kitchener, and one daughter, Linda Lou of New Hamburg; and two granddaughters, Verniece and Michelle. He is also survived by his mother, Magdalena Wagler of Nithview Home, New Hamburg; four brothers, Henry of Route 1, Millbank, Ivan, Omar and Lorne all of Route 1, Shakespeare. He was predeceased by his father Noah Z. Wagler and one brother, Eldon. Friends may call at the Omand-Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg on Monday, July 25, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted at Hillcrest Mennonite Church, New Hamburg, on Tuesday, July 26, at 2: 30 p.m. with Rev. Vernon Zehr and Mahlon Bender officiating. Interment in 19th Line cemetery, East Zorra.
