"Edward C. Brandt, 65, St. Louis, died suddenly at his home Wednesday, June 5th (1974). Mr. Brandt was born April 29, 1909, near Linn, the son of Ben J. and Anna Luecke Brandt. He was married to Miss Margaret Plassmeyer, Westphalia, who survives. He was a veteran of World War II and an active member of St. Ann's Catholic Church.
Other survivors include: on son, Eddie Brandt, St. Louis; one daughter, Mrs. Bob (Margaret Ann) Schulz, St. Louis; three brothers, George Brandt, Jefferson City; Clem Brandt, St. Louis; Tony Brandt, Linn; one sister, Mrs. Alphonse Krieg, Rich Fountain, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held in St. Louis at St. Ann's Catholic Church.. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery."
