Services are set for 10 a.m. Monday at Park Grove Cemetery for Ernest Paul Lemon.

He was born Feb. 23, 1918, to Jessie Ellen Melvina and George Wesley Lemon at Broken Arrow, and attended Broken Arrow Schools.


Lemon married Inez Elsia Johnson Dec. 24, 1935.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a 32nd Degree Mason and Shriner.

Lemon was a building contractor and developed three housing additions in Broken Arrow. He was also in the florist business for 20 years. He and his wife owned Flower shops in Prague, Okmulgee, Bixby and Broken Arrow.

His parents, wife Inez, daughter Shirley Pauline Lemon Ingold and granddaughter Katie Mishael Lemon preceded him in death.

He is survived by daughter Carolyn Gean Keele and husband, Harley, son Ernest Paul Lemon Jr.; three grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and a sister, Evelyn Sexson of Bartlesville.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hometown Hospice.
