Mary Ann Berry Wade, 82, died Saturday, February 28, 2009 at the Coleman hospital.
Graveside services will be held Monday, March 2, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at the Coleman City Cemetery Pavilion with Donald Williams officiating. Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
Mary Ann Berry was born December 21, 1926 in Santa Anna, Texas to Henry and Bertha Berry. Mary Ann was the 7th child and only daughter. Mary Ann married Dan Wade in 1971 in Kerrville, Texas. They lived in Corpus Christi, Texas until 1982 when they returned to Coleman. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1984 and six brothers, Clifford, Artie, Glen, Curtis, Cecil and John Berry.
She was a member of the Elm Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include a step-daughter, Annie Dempsey of Ocean Shores, Washington, and a sister-in-law, Sybil Berry of Coleman; numerous nieces and nephews, including local nieces Barbara Dawson, Deborah Barker, Sue Burleson and Libby Fuller. Local nephews are Jimmie Berry, Mike Berry and Gary Don Berry.
Memorials may be made to the Coleman Senior Citizen Center, 916 S. Concho Street, Coleman, Texas 76834.
