Mrs. Bertha Irene Holzapfel of 1611 Piersol Ave., Bentleyville,died Tuesday morning, May 19, 1964, in Washington Hospital.
She was born November 17, 1884, in Union Township, a daughter of Harvey and Belle (Phillips) Byers, and lived in Washington County all her live. She was a member of the Finleyville Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Frank L. Holzapfel; three sons, K. Gerald of Monongahela RD.2: William R. of Oakland, Calif., and Howard B. of Dallas Texas; one daughter, Mrs. I.C. (Belle) Miller of Dormont; five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Harriet Wray of Union Township.
Friends will be received after 7 p.m. today and 2-5 and 7-10 p.m. tomorrow at the Kenneth V. Thompson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Bentleyville.
