Carl Andrews was born June 30, 1905 at Henderson, Kentucky and died Monday, Jan 29 at Parkview Hospital in El Reno following a short illness.
He moved to St. Louis, Missouri at a young age and also lived in Oklahoma City and Alex before moving to El Reno in 1978.
Carl Andrews retired in 1957 as a captain from the U.S. Army and was a veteran of WWII (serving in Germany and Greece)and the Korean Conflict. He also retired from the Civil Service.
He was a member of and served as Deacon Emeritus at First Christian Church of El Reno. He was a Master Mason, a member of the India Shrine Temple Greeters and a member of the El Reno Elks Lodge No. 743.
Survivors include his wife, Ila Ogle Andrews of the home; one brother, Walter Andrews of Dumfries, Virginia; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Elsman and Mrs. Marge Williams both of Indianapolis, Indiana; Mrs. Eula Ballinger of Denver, Co.
