Albert Glaze Jr., 79 of Indianapolis, IN. He passed away on January 6, 2003 at his residence. Mr. Glaze was born November 7, 1923 in Clinton, IN. He had worked as a truck driver for the Indianapolis Star. He retired in 1985 after 18 years service and had also worked part time for Bank One. Albert was an Army veteran of WWII and was awarded the Purple Heart and 4 Bronze Stars. Mr. Glaze was a member of the Rockville Road Church of God, and the Plainfield Masonic Lodge #653. He was also very active in the Hawthorne Community Center Seniors Group. Albert was preceded in death by his wife Flora E. Linder Glaze. He is survived by sons: Danny, Alan, Gary, & Steve Glaze; daughters: Kathy Reid, Becky Schabel, Debbie Glaze; sister: Edna Mae Shriner; brothers: Max F. Glaze, Warren W. Glaze & Ray Glaze; 19 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8 at the Usher Funeral Home, with calling from 9 a.m. Burial will follow in Floral Park Cemetery.
