Gary Joseph Detweiler, 3l, died Sunday after a long illness in Houston, Texas. He was a financial analyst at First City Bank in Houston and was a l984 graduate of Western New Mexico University. He was past president of the Newman Club and was a communicant of the St. Francis Newman Center in Silver City. He is survived by his parents, Lynn and Mary Detweiler of Silver City; four sisters, Diana Tully and her husband, Tom, of Wellesley, Mass., Elaine McKinney and her husband, Walt, of McKinney, Texas, Mary Lynne Detweiler of San Diego, Calif., and Teresa Detweiler, stationed in Puerto Rico; two brothers, Kenneth Detweiler and his wife, Dolores, of Winnemucca, Nev., and Carl Detweiler and his wife, Diane, of Farmington; and Billy Rodriguez, a close friend. Mass of the Resurrection will be at l0 a.m. Monday in the St. Francis Newman Center with the Rev. Bill Mayer as celebrant. Interment will follow in Memory Lane Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Detweiler, Carl Detweiler, Billy Rodriguez ---
