Church, a World War I veteran and a member of the Masonic and Shriner Lodges, lived in Zeigler until 1925. He was employed at Kohlsdorff Clothing Store, Zeigler, while living in Zeigler.
His wife, the former Lula Crews, Murphysboro, died nine years ago.
He leaves his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Church of Zeigler, brothers James and Clarence of Zeigler and William of Cambria, sisters Mrs. Fern Riner of Chicago, Mrs. Gladys Buchanan of Chicago and Mrs. Dorothy Taylor of Tucson, AZ.
He will be returned to the Buchanan Funeral Home, Golconda, where friends may call Saturday there are 2 p.m. Sunday. Funeral services in Zeigler will be at the First Baptist Church Monday at 1:30 p.m. Friends may call at the Vantrease Funeral Home, Zeigler, after 6 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Albert Moore will officiate at the services. Burial will be in the Central Church Cemetery, west of De Soto.
