Felix married twice:

First marriage to: Mary "Alice" (McGuire) Beck, who was born 9 Dec 1844 at the parish parsonage of St. Michael's Church, Loretto; died 10 Nov 1903 at her home in Gallitzin; Married July 17, 1866 at the old Chapel at St. Michael's Church, Loretto.

2nd Marriage to: Kathryn Anna "Annie" Huey who was born 31 May 1856 in Westmoreland County, PA; Married October 30, 1907 at St. Patrick's Church, Gallitzin. Annie died 22 Feb 1938 in Altoona, PA.

Felix served in Capt Hartman's Company G. 12th Pennsylvania Calvary (Civil War), and was a Corporal when he mustered in January 18, 1862 at the age of 22. On January 1, 1863, he was promoted to Sergeant. On January 21, 1864 he mustered out at Martinsburg VA (now WVA). The next day, Feb 1, 1864, he mustered back in as Sergeant. For the Jan/Feb 1865 muster rolls, he was on detached duty at Harper's Ferry, WVA as a Provost Guard. On July 20, 1865, at Winchester, VA, he mustered out. Note that these dates were obtained from his records (muster rolls) located at the National Archives (NARA).
