Mrs. Della Mae Maderis, 80, Friendship Haven, died at Bethesda General Hospital Friday night. She had been in failing health for some time. She had made her home at Friendship Haven since 1967 and had been a patient at the Health Center there for two years.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Chapel on the Hill, Friendship Haven with Dr. Clarence Tompkins, executive director, and the Rev. Willis McLaughlin, chaplain, officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery with the Bruce Funeral Home in charge.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Donald Baker, Fort Dodge, and two grandchildren.
Della Mae East was born and educated in Fort Dodge. She married Elmer A. Maderis in 1918 here, and with the exception of a few years spent in Illinois, the couple made their home here. Mr. Maderis died in 1937.
