Roy McTeer Dillard, 54, 522 W. Church, died Wednesday at his home.

Born in Georgia, he had been a resident of Grand Prairie for 20 years. He was formerly an employee of Texas Tire and Rubber Co. here.

He was a member of the Baptist Church in Midlothian and a member of the Masonic Lodge.

Dillard lost two sons in World War II. Lt. Samuel David Dillard of the U. S. Air Force and a member of the 4th Ferry Command, was killed in a bomber crash in Brazil on Jan. 26, 1944. A younger son, St. Patrick H. Dillard, also of the Air Force, was declared missing in action on April 5, 1945.

He is survived by two daughters, Miss Lucille Dillard of Grand Prairie and Mrs. W. J. Wright of Dallas; one son, Leon Dillard of Leesburg, Fla.; three grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Tinnie Dillard of Midlothian; two brothers, Wade of Fort Worth and Claud of Midlothian; two sisters, Mrs. Lucille Johnson of Midlothian and Mrs. Maggie Gerwin of Dallas.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Moore Funeral Chapel, with Rev. James Taylor of First Baptist Church in charge.

Interment will be at Midlothian.
