"Undine Albert. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. for Undine Albert, 85, at the Brusie Funeral Home. Mrs. Albert died early today.
She was born in Knights Landing Jan. 19, 1876. Her family moved to Marysville when she was a small child, and then to Chico. Her father, William Rackerby, owned and operated a general store here near First and Main. The family moved to what is now Rackerby, near Marysville, named after her father, when she was 16.
She was married to George L. Albert of Brownsville in 1896. They lived at DeSabla and then came to Chico in 1934. Mr. Albert died in 1838 [sic, 1938]. She has lived in Chico and Oroville since his death.
Survivors include: two sons, George L. Albert of Chico and Fred G. Albert of Woods, Wis.; a sister, Mrs. Vesta Clark of Marysville; and three grandchildren.
Cremation will take place at Sierra View Memorial Park in Marysville."
