Francis (aka Frank) Dultmeier from Oldenburg, Germany, left Bremen, Germany in 1875 arriving in Baltimore, MD. He worked in Cleveland, Ohio, Dubuque, Iowa and Dyersville, Iowa. In 1879 Frank moved to Carroll County Ia. and bought a farm. In 1882 he married Mary Katherine Ostendorf. From 1908-11 Frank Dultmeier and Mary owned a farm in Pacla, KS. From there they moved to Templeton, IA. from 1911-1931.
A stroke stopped him in 1931. They were parents to 9 children. Frank, Agnes, Joe, Ann, Katherine, Rose, Edward, John and Gus. Katherine died when she was 18.
