Mrs. Orpha Bainter Lovitt, age 69, passed away Monday at 11:30 p.m. after several weeks illness at her home near Stronghurst. Born Sept. 19, 1875 in this community where she spent her entire life, she was the daughter of Peter and Emily (Snoots) Bainter. She was married to Milton G. Lovitt, who survives with one daughter, Maxine Simpson of Stronghurst. Ther is one grandson, Milton Simpson, who is serving in the army overseas. There is also a sister, Mrs. Freeman Doak of Stronghurst. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. at the Lovitt home. Burial will be in Stronghurst Cemetery. 09 May 1945.
