His wife Bertha Byers Holzapfel,died May 9,1964.
Surviving are three sons, K. Gerald of Monongahela, William R. of Clear Lake, Highland Calif., and Howard B. of Mart, TX., one daughter, Mrs. I.C. (Helen Belle) Miller of Dormont; three brothers, Harry of Finleyville, Chris of Marietta,Ohio, and Henry of Uniontown; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Heath of Clairton and Mrs. Frieda McDonald of Cleveland, Ohio; five grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Two brothers, Edward and William, and one sister; Olga,preceded him in death.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and tomorrow in the Kenneth V. Thompson Funeral Home, Bentleyville.
