Donna S. Jones, 65, of Bonner Springs, Kan., and previously of Linwood, Kan., passed away Wednesday March 4, 2009. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 7, at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home. Burial to follow in the Mt. Sidney Cemetery in Linwood. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, at the funeral home. In lieu of Flowers the family suggests Memorial Contributions to the St. Luke's Hospital Foundation in care of the funeral home. Donna was born on Aug. 14, 1943, in Tulsa, Okla. She moved with her family to the Linwood area in 1952 and was a proud 1961 graduate of the Linwood High School. She married Gaylord Jones in Miami, Okla., in 1971. She was preceded in death by her mother, Blanche Johnson and one brother, Ralph Kelley. Survivors include her husband, Gaylord of the home, three children, Kelly Bland and husband Chuck of Lee's Summit, Mo., David Jones and wife Ronay of Basehor, Kan., and Mike Jones and wife Lisa of Bonner Springs; three brothers, Raymond Kelley of Tulsa, John Johnson and wife Carmen of Bonner Springs, Gary Johnson and wife Carol of Linwood; six grandchildren: Thomas & Tyler Stidham, Christian Jones, McKenzie & Rylee Jones, Gentry Jones, one great-grandson: Nicholas Stidham and one on the way.
