Floyd E. Fellure, 89, of 610 S. Crown, died at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, 2002, in Oxford, where he resided.

Born May 22, 1913, in Crown City,Gallia County, Ohio, he lived in Benton County most of his life. He graduated from Fowler High School in Fowler,IN and Brookings State College in South Dakota.

He married Helen L. Muller in Crown Point,IN on Dec. 27, 1932. She died June 11, 1992. Surviving are 11 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, four brothers, a daughter Sharon Cassel and two grandchildren.

Mr. Fellure owned the grocery store, Fellure's IGA in Oxford & Swanington, retiring in 1975.He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan, if the game wasn't televised he would listen on his radio.

He was a member of Oxford United Methodist Church, had been a lifetime member of Oxford Lions Club since March 14, 1978, and was awarded the Melvin Jones Fellow award from the Lions Club International.

Surviving are two sons, John Kenneth Fellure (wife: Melissa) and Lawrence Fellure, both of Oxford a brother, Charles (wife: Inez)Fellure of Fowler and a sister, Mildred McNerney of Oxford.
