He was a retired drag line operator for Rosini Coal Co., Shamokin; a former Washington Twp. supervisor and road employee; and a member of Himmel's Lutheran Church, Rebuck. He attended Rebuck schools and liked woodworking, hunting, old tractors and railroad locomotives.
He was the widower of Marie Reitz Brosius. Surviving are his wife, Audrey E. Miller Brosius; two sons, Randy G. and Jeffrey H., both of Dornsife; four daughters, Linda M. Wetzel of Sunbury RR 1, Beverly A. Konyar of Lewisburg, Theresa M. Wendt of Dalmatia RR 1 and Cheryl L. Lesher of Dornsife RR 1; a sister, Dawn Inch, and a brother, Howard C., both of Sunbury RR 3; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in his church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday in the church.
