SHERMAN - Cremation arrangements for Evelyn Lynn Lee are pending with Waldo Funeral Home. Mrs. Lee passed away Saturday, March 7, 2009 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center at the age of 88.
Lynn was born on April 21, 1920 in Knoxville, Tenn. to the late William and Margaret (Bales) Cowan. On May 31, 1941, Evelyn married Carl Lee in Ohio. Mrs. Lee worked in cosmetic sales for many years. She was a wonderful cook, who loved to entertain her friends and family. She enjoyed traveling and will be remembered for her devoted love to her family, her kindness to all animals, and her fondness for chocolate.
Mrs. Lee is survived by her daughter, Terry Lee of Sherman; grandson, Michael Womack and wife, Herdy of Richardson; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one brother, Donald Cowan.
