{from Sassafras, for last week} The community was shocked Monday when the word came that Mrs. J.P. Dean had died at her home at Siloam Springs. Mrs. Dean was born and raised in this neighborhood and was highly esteemed by her acquaintances. Her death was caused by erysipelas which ran into blood poison. She leaves her husband, three daughters and four sons, one of whom is in the army in France. [Rogers Democrat - Rogers, Benton County, Arkansas - January 23, 1919]
