Mrs. Lenard, 94, died Feb. 28, 2005, at her residence. She was born in Lincoln County on Oct. 21, 1910, to James Bailey Adams and Mary Elizabeth Richardson Adams.
She was a dairy farmer and homemaker. She was a member of Moak's Creek Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Floyd L. Lenard; her son-in-law, Gerald "Jerry" Crosby; two sisters; and five brothers.
Survivors are her daughters, Mary Crosby and Betty Walters, and her husband, Melvin, all of Bogue Chitto; her sister, Betty Quin, of the Shady Grove community; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
