LOCAL.
—Gus Fletcher, superintendent of the poor farm, is very sick with typhoid fever, and it is thought he will not recover.

G. A. Fletcher, superintendent of the poor farm near Walkersville, died last Thursday, of typhoid fever, after an illness of about two weeks. A wife and two children are left to mourn his loss. He was a member of the Christian church and was held in high esteem by all who knew him. The remains were interredinthe Wood cemetery and the funeral will be preached about the first of November.
