He removed with his father Thomas Wells White to Barnard, VT, where he lived until the Fall of 1799, when he moved with his father and two brothers, to Washington Co., OH. He settled on a farm in the township of Roxbury, now Waterford, was for many years a Deacon of the Presbyterian Church at that place, and a highly useful citizen. He died at age 71+, and was buried in the grave-yard of the family, on his farm, where also rest the remains of his three wives, father and several other relatives.
His wives: Patta Cheadle; Rebecca Porter m. 28 Feb 1802;
Catherine Harris Briggs m. 22 Jan 1809.
