Bradshaw--

Mrs. Ervin Hicks, 73, of Bradshaw died at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Bradshaw Baptist Church, directed by Winters Funeral Home.
The Rev. Clovis Griffing, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be at Bradshaw Cemetery.
Born Margaret Little, July 26, 1908 in Hall County, she moved to the Winters area in 1919 and married Ervin Hicks there Aug. 25, 1924. They farmed near Guion in south Taylor county for a number of years before moving to Roscoe in 1941. They moved to Bradshaw in 1947. Mr. Hicks died Nov. 25, 1980.
Survivors include two sons, Nolan of Rotan and Billy of Talpa; five daughters, Evelyn Matthews of Bradshaw, Katherine Watson of Fort Sumner, N.M., Mildred Cartwright of Hobbs, N.M., Wanda Hanley of Potosi, and Clara Folsom of Abilene; two sisters, Eura Provost of Abilene and Nora Baker of Winters, 24 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Thurman Anderson, Jack Pierce, James Baker, W.W. Best, Mansfield Foster and Kenneth Sneed.
