Ottis Melvin PAIR was the only child born to Martha Bray (daughter of Lula and Oliver BRAY) and James "Andrew" PAIR (son of George W. PAIR and his 3rd wife Mrs. Nancy SCOTT).
Unfortunately many died during the Flu Epidemic of 1917-1918, including Ottis's father James "Andrew" PAIR who died age 21 while wife Martha was pregnant.
Ottis's mother Martha soon re-married a nephew of James "Andrew" Pair's names Anderson Wesley PAIR.
Again Martha was pregnant when she lost her second husband Wes PAIR in December, 1921. In 1922 Martha had a daughter named Mildred PAIR. Ottis was just 3 years old when his step-father Wes PAIR died December, 1921. Ottis lost his mother Martha in 1930 when he was 12 years old.
Ottis and his sister Mildred were BLESSED to have their Grandparents Lula and Oliver BRAY!
Ottis PAIR married Mary Frances WALTERS.
Together Mary and Ottis Pair had four sons:

2. Frank "Terry" Pair
3. Charles Raymond Pair
4. Johnny Lee Pair
