Presque Isle, Maine – Allen Charles Moran, 90, died Wednesday evening, March 28, 1951, at his home at 9 Delmont Street after a brief illness. He was born in Charlton County, New Brunswick, August 2, 1860, the son of John and Mary Pryor Moran and had been a resident of Presque Isle for the past 75 years.

Surviving are his widow, Ellen Roach Moran; three sons, Arthur of Ludlow, and John and Gordon, both of Presque Isle; five daughters, Mrs. Ruby Chamberlain of Bangor, Mrs. Minnie Benn of Springfield, Mass., Mrs. Leonora Stubbs of Washington, D.C., Mrs. Elsie Hunter and Mrs. Margaret Bailey, both of Presque Isle; 32 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

A Requiem High Mass will be celebrated, Saturday at 9 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. John Harris, celebrant. Burial will be in the North Main Street cemetery later in the spring.
