He was a retired farmer and an equipment operator for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation on Northumberland County highways; educated in Washington Twp. schools; and a member of Himmels Lutheran Church at Rebuck, Herndon F&AM Lodge 702, and Herndon Fire Company.
Surviving are his wife, Myrtle H. Rebuck; a son, Larry D. of Dornsife RD 1; a daughter, Cindy Cooley of Norfolk, Va.; two sisters, Merle Mattern of Lykens RD and Leah Zucker of Sunbury; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in his church. Burial will be in Himmels Cemetery, Rebuck.
There will be no viewing or visitation.
