She married Fred S. Strehle on 17 Jun 1899 at Ry Church in Vermilion, Erie Co., OH. The marriage ceremony was performed by Rev. Pretzar.

Alfreda died at her home in Brownhelm Twp., Lorain Co., OH and was buried 30 Mar 1925.

MRS. FRED STRALEY, 46, DIES AT BROWNHELM, WAS ILL NINE YEARS

Amherst, March 28, - Mrs. Freda Miller Straley, age 46 years, died at her home in Brownhelm at 5:55 yesterday after an illness of 9 years. She is survived by her husband, Fred, two daughters Marion at home, and Mrs. H. H. Baker, Elyria, and one son, Charles, at home, four brothers, Henry of Elyria, Jacob and William, Amherst, Charles of Brownhelm, two sisters, Mrs. Ed Wittmer of Vermilion, Mrs. Charles Sahl of Huron.

Funeral rites will be held Monday afternoon at 1:30 from the home, 2 o'clock from the Reformed Church at Brownhelm. Burial in Brownhelm cemetery, O. H. Baker in charge.

BROWNHELM, April 1, - Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Brownhelm Reform church for Mrs. Fred Strehle who passed away at 5:45 Friday afternoon. Rev. B. H. Heller of Vermilion had charge of the services. The four brothers, Henry of Elyria, Jacob and William of Amherst and Charles of this place acted as pall-bearers. Burial was made at the Brownhelm cemetery.

Fred [sic: Freda] A. Miller was born at Brownhelm in May, 1878. She was united in marriage in June 1898 to Fred Strehle also of Brownhelm. To this union were born four children, Regina Baker of Elyria, Marion and Charles at home, and Leonard who preceded her in death a number of years ago. Her entire life has been spent near her birthplace. She has been in ill health the past nine years and unable to leave her home the past five years. She was members of the Brownhelm Reform church. Her husband, Fred, the three children, four brothers and two sisters, Mrs. Edward Whitmore of Vermilion and Mrs. Charles Sales of Huron, survive her.

Among those from out of town attending the funeral services were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Beam and Mrs. J. Gormely of Toledo; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Sales, Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Sales and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Schwartz of Huron; Mrs. and Mrs. Ed Whitmore, Mr. and Mrs. Wm.
