Joseph Clifton Abrams

Joseph Abrams, 79, of Vallejo passed away at home Tuesday.
He served in the U.S. Army for 22 years, retiromg as an E-7 in 1972. He then worked at Mare Island Naval Shipyard for 20 years and retired. Joseph later worked at Kaiser Hospital and Walmart.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Velma L. Abrams; sons, Clifford (Raianne) Abrams and Darrell (Onedia) Blanson; daughters, Sarah Griffith, Joann Abrams, Betty Snowden and Dondra Blanson; and 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, March 6, 2009, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Skyview Funeral Chapel, 200 Rollingwood Drive, Vallejo. Services will be held Saturday, March 7, 2009, at 1 p.m. at Community Bible Church, 710 Broadway, Vallejo. Interment will be at Sacramento Valley VA National Cemetery, Dixon, CA.
