The Rev. Sam Aucoin was to officiate with burial in Oakley Cemetery under direction of Mulhearn's Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
A native of Mississippi, Mr. Flowers was a retired grocer and truck farmer and manager of Herrington Bait Stand here. He was a member of the South Central Baptist Church.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mildred Flowers of Wisner; a son, Leon Flowers Jr. of Oak Grove; one daughter, Mrs. F. C. Davis of Lake Providence; a stepdaughter, Mr. J. W. Sims of Wisner; one brother, Warren Flowers of Gilbert; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Robinson of Monroe and Mrs. Jesse Cobb of Watson; 13 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were W. C. Herrington, H. E. Blair, C. M. Brooks, Huey Stevens, C. M. Rayborn and Charles Buck.
