Jeremiah E. Cedeno, age 18, died on Sunday, July 27, 2008, in a one-car accident on Waller Road, Benton Township. He was pronounced dead at 10:25 p.m.
Born on July 19, 1990, in Logan, Utah, he was the son of Luis A. and Bonnie K. (Gullans) Cedeno, with whom he resided.
He resided in Benton form 1996 to 1999, when the family moved to Bloomsburg, returning to Benton in 2006.
Jeremiah had completed the 10th grade at Benton Area High School and would have been a junior this fall. He was employed part-time at Karchner's Tree Farm, Benton, during the summer months as a tree trimmer.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Lime Ridge. At school he was a member of the Future Farmers of America and participated on the wrestling and baseball teams.
Surviving in addition to hs parents are six siblings: JaimeLee, wife of Carl Esposito, California; Sara Cedeno, at home; Adam L. Cedeno and his wife, Chelsea, Mifflinville; Matthew J. Cedeno, at home; Rebekah Cedeno, Bloomsburg; and Daniel Cedeno, at home; his maternal grandmother, Barbara Gullans, Sanford, Maine; his paternal grandfather, Adriana Alicia, Orlando, Fla,; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Jeremiah will be missed by all that knew him.
