JANESVILLE: Mrs. Thomas G. Olson, 74, 1061 Shore Terrace st., died Saturday at 9:20 p.m. at the Mercy hospital. She had been in ill health the past several months.
The former Christiana Halverson, she was born in Madison, Aug. 23, 1876. She was married to Ole Tande in 1895. He died in 1918. In 1920 she was married to Thomas Olson at Viroqua.
Survivors are her husband, three daughters, six sons, 19 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Overton funeral home. Friends may call tonight at the funeral home from 7 to 9. Burial will be in Milton Lawn Memorial park.Mrs. Thomas G. Olson, the former Christina Hoverson, daughter of Ole and Carrie Hoverson. She was married to Ole Tandy on July 17, 1895. Eleven children were born of this union, three having preceded their mother in death. Mr. Tandy died in 1918. Mrs. Tandy was married to Thomas G. Olson at Viroqua April 6, 1920. One son, Orville Olson was born to the couple. Surviving are: her husband; three daughters; six sons; two sisters; grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Four sisters preceded her in death. Until her health failed Mrs. Olson was active in Christian and Missionary Alliance church.

(Please note that her maiden name might be spelled Hooverson and her obituary spelled her first husband's name Tandy, but it is Tande.)
