Grandma Ayers Dead
Grandma Ayers widow of the late J.T. Ayers and mother of County Commissioner T.J. Ayers died at her home in this city Saturday night and was buried Sunday afternoon in the City Cemetery after an illness of several weeks. Services were held at the home Sunday afternoon by the Rev. Haskell Hammer of this city. Mrs. Ayers was a true Christian character and will be missed by her many friends throughout the County. She leaves four sons Alex, Lee, Tom, and Edwin and two daughters Mrs. V.J. Rumsey and Mrs. Alexander to mourn her death, all of whom reside in this community. The entire citizenship of the county extend sympathy to the heart broken relatives.
