She first married Thomas Wright, son of James Wright & Elizabeth (Buzhardt)Wright. She had four children with Thomas Wright who died by 1830. Fannie then married John Salter with whom she had four additional children.

From "William and Mary College Quarterly Historical Magazine," Williamsburg, VA, July 1897, p. 134:

Frances Goodwin (daughter of Theophilus) was born in 1798 in Edgefield, South Carolina; was married first to Thomas Wright, who was born in Newberry, South Carolina, a son of James & Elizabeth Buzherdt Wright. Frances Goodwin married secondly John Salter in Edgefield. Wright children: 1) Henry T. married Frances Kenney; 2) Theophilus S. married Nancy Elder; 3) Julius Pickens married first Jane Mathena, second Elizabeth Bolton; 4) Ann married George Crouch. Salter children: 5) unknown; 6) Charity married ____ Crouch; 7) Margaret died unmarried; 8) Simpson Goodwin married Eliza Denny; 9) Larkin died unmarried; 10) Savannah died unmarried.

Dawn speaking now: While it's not an obituary, it's a pretty complete biography of Frances' life. In other bios on the same page as Frances, if the person moved, they indicated that and said where they moved to. It seems that Frances was born and married in Edgefield, SC, and there is no indication she ever left. So death in Edgefield seems completely reasonable. You might want to add this bio to her memorial page.
