WINNFIELD - Services for Mabel E. Evans will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Laurel Heights Baptist Church with the Revs. Charles Haley, Bob Braly and Bennie McBride officiating. Burial will be in Sardis Cemetery near Winnfield under direction of Southern.
Evans, 86, of LaGrange, Ga., died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000, in West Georgia Hospice.
She was a Winnfield native, homemaker and member of Laurel Heights Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Glen Evans of Atlanta; one daughter, Gloria Garrett of LaGrange, Ga.; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until time of service Wednesday in the church.
